In a new interview with Rock Sound's James Wilson-Taylor conducted at this weekend's Download festival, HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD frontman Johnny 3 Tears revealed plans for the band to release a new album early next year.
The band has been releasing standalone singles in recent months, but none of these songs will be featured on their upcoming record.
The interview also touched on the current trend of artists releasing standalone singles rather than focusing on full-length albums.
Johnny 3 Tears concurred with Rock Sound's James Wilson-Taylor that this shift in music trends is not a new phenomenon.
"Hip-hop has been doing it since the '80s," he explained.
"And now rock will just put out songs too.
We'll never play them again." This comes after the band released their latest single, "Feels Like Home", via Sumerian Records last month.
The track finds HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD turning pain into belonging and delivering a bruised, melodic anthem for those who have grown too familiar with their own weight.
The release arrives alongside the announcement that HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD will co-headline the return of the "Taste Of Chaos" tour this fall with IN THIS MOMENT and special guests I SEE STARS, VANA and MELROSE AVENUE.
The tour will kick off on September 22 in Charlotte, North Carolina and visit a further 21 cities across the U.S.
before culminating in Anaheim, California on October 26.
Since signing with Sumerian Records, HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD has released several singles, including "Hollywood Forever", "SAVIOR", "1x1" and "All My Friends" featuring Jeris Johnson.
The band continues to push boundaries and reshape alternative culture with their unique sound and style.
