Retired IRON MAIDEN drummer Nicko McBrain has opened up about the legendary British heavy metal band's upcoming induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame's Class Of 2026.

In a new interview with Capnharris, McBrain spoke about being on the list of members who will be inducted alongside the band's current lineup and former drummer Clive Burr.

The ceremony will take place on November 14 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

McBrain also discussed his upcoming autobiography, "Hello Boys And Girls!", which will be published via Harper NonFiction on October 22, 2026.

He expressed mixed emotions about being inducted into the Rock Hall, citing the politics behind it and acknowledging that many musicians are getting older or passing away before they get a chance to be inducted.

McBrain reflected on his own career with IRON MAIDEN, discussing his decision to retire from touring due to health issues and not wanting to play songs "too fast" because of his experience playing with his Florida-based side project TITANIUM TART.

He also touched on his stroke episode in August 2023 that left him paralyzed down one side of his body and worried about the end of his career with the band.

The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony will air on ABC and Disney+ the following month.

IRON MAIDEN is scheduled to perform Australian tour dates on November 13 in Melbourne and November 15 in Sydney while the induction ceremony takes place.
