AudioMover has shared a new video featuring a deep dive into Iron Maiden’s classic Powerslave and Live After Death albums.

The episode explores the story behind Eddie, Iron Maiden’s iconic mascot, discusses how the band became one of the biggest acts in the world despite receiving almost no mainstream radio support, and examines the role that album artwork, live performances, and fan loyalty played in their rise.

On June 22nd, Iron Maiden headlined La Défense Arena in Paris, France.

The show was being professionally filmed and recorded for the upcoming Run For Your Lives Tour concert film.

However, the performance came to an unexpected standstill mid-song during “2 Minutes To Midnight” after a sudden power outage affected the surrounding neighborhood, forcing a full pause in the concert.

Fans inside the venue quickly began sharing updates online as the situation unfolded.

Reports indicated that the issue was not limited to the arena itself but stemmed from a wider electrical outage in the local area.

Iron Maiden could not perform an encore due to the venue curfew, resulting in three iconic songs being omitted from the set – “Aces High”, “Fear Of The Dark”, and “Wasted Years”.

The band's abbreviated setlist featured 14 songs, including fan favorites like “Wrathchild” and “Hallowed Be Thy Name.” Iron Maiden has not yet issued an official statement regarding the power outage in Paris and if that will affect the release of the Run For Your Lives Tour concert film.
