German power metal band Iron Savior has released a new track titled "Climbing Higher" along with an official visualizer. The song is taken from their upcoming album Deathbringer, set for release on November 13 via Frontiers Music Srl. Vocalist Piet Sielck confirmed the single as one of the most commercial tracks on the album, describing it as emotionally honest with catchy melodies.
Deathbringer marks Iron Savior's return to the concept album format, following their 2023 release Firestar. The album is set within a sci-fi narrative in which ancient insectoid enemies known as the Shadows have returned, threatening humanity. The story unfolds aboard the Deathbringer vessel, where an immortal queen preserves the last remnants of her species in a digital hive.
The album features tracks including "Deathbringer," "Light In The Dark," "The Creature’s Tale," and a Judas Priest cover titled "Fever." All songs were produced, mixed, and mastered by Piet Sielck at his Powerhouse Studio. The band has also confirmed a tour in support of the album, with Mystic Prophecy as the supporting act.
Iron Savior is celebrating 30 years of operation with the release of Deathbringer, a full-length album that reaffirms their signature style of powerful power metal, anthemic choruses, and sci-fi storytelling. The band has maintained its energy and musical consistency over three decades, solidifying its status as a leading force in European power metal.
