Jason Newsted and The Chophouse Band have launched their first-ever North American headlining tour.

The tour includes eight headlining dates and ten supporting shows for Blackberry Smoke.

The performances took place across the United States, with a notable live appearance at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN, where the band performed Black Sabbath’s 'Fairies Wear Boots'.

Newsted confirmed in a prior interview that he was diagnosed with throat cancer last year, undergoing serious treatment that led to a period of severe depression.

He later recovered and returned to musical activity, citing swimming, biking, and playing music as key to his recovery.

The tour marks his return to live performance after this health challenge.
