Guitarist Jeremy Wagner, known for his work with metal bands Broken Hope and Earthburner, will release his new horror novel Wretch on February 24, 2026 via Dead Sky Publishing.

The book is a brutal descent into crime and vengeance, reminiscent of classics like Mario Puzo's The Godfather and Thomas Harris' Red Dragon.

Wagner has written extensively in various genres, including music lyrics for his bands.

His latest work, Wretch, is set against the backdrop of a sweltering Chicago summer, where Detective Donnie Lynch trails a monstrous killer who is driven by lust and rage.

The novel explores themes of violence, crime, and the darker aspects of human nature.
