Legendary hard rock singer Joe Lynn Turner has performed his first solo album, 1985's 'Rescue You', in its entirety along with his other hits at select shows in Scandinavia this past week.

Backing Joe at the gigs was his solo band consisting of Nikolo Kotzev on guitar, Ken Sandin on bass, Will Oaks on keyboards, and Darby Todd on drums.

Fan-filmed video of Joe's April 26 concert at John Dee in Oslo, Norway can be seen below.

'Rescue You' was produced by Roy Thomas Baker, known for his work with QUEEN and THE CARS.

Joe co-wrote most of the songs with keyboardist Al Greenwood (FOREIGNER).

The first single, "Endlessly", received extensive airplay on radio and MTV.

A tour with Pat Benatar followed.

In a summer 2025 interview with Finland's Southeast Wreckmetal, Joe was asked if his next studio album will see him reteaming with Swedish producer Peter Tägtgren (HYPOCRISY, PAIN, LINDEMANN), who worked on Joe's latest LP, 2022's 'Belly Of The Beast'.

He responded: 'No, actually, I talked to Peter, and even a year ago, he said his calendar is so full right now.

He's working two bands.

I mean, he was doing LINDEMANN, but that's over with and so on.

But he's just really, really too busy, and he needed a break.

So he said, 'I'm sorry, man.

I can't do a second record.' I said, 'Do you know something? That's okay.'
