In a recent sit-down with Robert Edwards of Talkin' Bout Rock, MĂ–TLEY CRĂśE's original singer and replacement John Corabi opened up about his current relationship with Vince Neil.
Contrary to popular opinion, Corabi claims that he and Neil are on good terms.
In fact, they've even remained friendly enough to exchange hugs and engage in casual conversations whenever they're together.
Corabi expressed that his only real point of contention lies with the perception among fans that he and Neil harbor deep-seated animosity towards each other.
He clarified his stance by stating that there's no bad blood between him and MĂ–TLEY CRĂśE at all, despite leaving the band in 1992.
This clarification comes amid reports of a strained relationship between Corabi and Neil following Corabi's tenure as vocalist from 1992 to 1997.
The tensions reportedly arose due to creative differences during their time working together on MĂ–TLEY CRĂśE's 1994 self-titled album.
Despite leaving the band, Corabi went on to form UNION with ex-KISS guitarist Bruce Kulick and release a full-length CD in 1995.
He later released a live album, "Live '94: One Night In Nashville," which captures his performance of MĂ–TLEY CRĂśE's entire self-titled album from October 2015.
Corabi will release his debut full-length solo album, "New Day," on April 24, 2026 via Frontiers Music Srl.
The project marks a significant milestone in Corabi's music career, having previously been involved with MĂ–TLEY CRĂśE and UNION.
This recent interview serves as a rare opportunity to hear John Corabi reflect on his time within the band and address misconceptions surrounding his departure."
