Golden Robot Records proudly announces a new single from the late rock icon, John Sykes.

The powerful track “Believe In Yourself” drops on June 12 and is available now for pre-save on all major streaming platforms.

This poignant preview serves as an introduction to a forthcoming posthumous EP featuring some of the last known recordings from one of rock music's most revered guitarists and songwriters.

The single captures everything fans have long admired about Sykes' artistry – soaring vocals, electrifying guitar work, and a deeply personal lyrical message delivered with passion and conviction.

The track stands as both a triumphant celebration of his enduring creative spirit and a heartfelt farewell to a musician whose influence shaped generations of rock and metal artists.

This release follows the overwhelmingly positive response to Sykes' first single, “My Guitar,” which reaffirmed the lasting impact of his work and the deep connection he continues to share with audiences around the world.

True fans were overjoyed that they had new music to celebrate and were unconcerned with the politics of the release.

Across decades of groundbreaking music, John Sykes built a legacy founded on unforgettable riffs, powerful performances, and uncompromising musicianship.

His contributions to the world of rock continue to resonate globally, inspiring fans and fellow musicians alike.

Golden Robot Records is deeply honoured to help share this body of work with the fans who supported and loved him throughout his remarkable career.

The upcoming EP promises to preserve and celebrate the next creative chapter of an artist whose music remains timeless and whose legacy continues to inspire.

A physical CD release will accompany the digital single, while a four-track EP, worked on during Sykes' time with Golden Robot Records, is set for release in November.

The tracks are being respectfully released later this year, with a clear focus on preserving the integrity of his original vision and honouring his legacy.“My Guitar” offers fans an intimate connection to John's creative voice in its purest form, while Sykes' passing in 2025 marked the end of an era for fans worldwide.

Born in Reading, England, Sykes first rose to prominence with Tygers Of Pan Tang before joining Thin Lizzy, where his blistering tone and melodic sensibility helped reinvigorate the band.

He achieved global fame as a core architect of Whitesnake's multi-platinum 1987 self-titled album, co-writing and recording many of its most iconic tracks.

Following his departure from Whitesnake, Sykes continued to carve his own path with Blue Murder and as a solo artist, earning a reputation as a fiercely independent and uncompromising creative force.

Prior to his passing in 2025, John recorded four tracks working toward a new album with Golden Robot Records which are being released posthumously as a special EP.“Believe In Yourself” will be released worldwide on June 12 via Golden Robot Records, available now for pre-save on all major streaming platforms.
