JUDAS PRIEST's epic journey to the top of rock and roll is set to be showcased in a new documentary, 'The Ballad Of Judas Priest', which will receive its North American premiere at the Hot Docs Canadian international documentary film festival.
The festival, which showcases documentaries from around the world, takes place in Toronto from April 23 to May 3.
Prior to this announcement, the film made its world premiere at the 76th Berlinale - Berlin International Film Festival in February.
A preview clip featuring PRIEST singer Rob Halford discussing the inspiration behind their classic song 'Breaking The Law' was previously premiered on Rolling Stone and can be viewed below.
In the clip, Halford explains that 'Breaking The Law' was written during Margaret Thatcher's reign in 1980, addressing frustrations among the working class at the time.
He describes it as a 'revolution song', highlighting the pain and suffering of some British working-class people, who were rioting and striking due to their rage.

JUDAS PRIEST stated that the documentary will showcase their lives uncensored in a never-before-seen way, with the band's current touring lineup featuring singer Rob Halford, bassist Ian Hill, guitarists Richie Faulkner and Andy Sneap, and drummer Scott Travis.
The documentary is a production of Banger Films and directed by Sam Dunn and Tom Morello.
