In a heartfelt video message, Judas Priest frontman Rob Halford marks his 40th year of sobriety, sharing his journey from addiction to recovery and expressing hope for those battling the same struggle.

'Today I stand here with deep gratitude and thankfulness as I celebrate 40 years of sobriety,' Halford says in the video.

He recounts the challenges he faced in recovering, emphasizing the importance of honesty, humility, and perseverance.

'Recovery isn’t just about staying clean,' Halford reflects, 'it’s the presence of clarity, purpose, and connectivity – a gift of showing up for my life each day for the people I love.' Halford's new single, 'Stoned Babies', is the first offering from the forthcoming album 'Voices of Extreme' on BraveWords Records, with the full album set to release in 2026.

The single has received praise from Iridium Rock and Metal Reviews: 'I love everything about it...

Can’t wait to hear more from them...

Fucking brilliant...

Beautiful song.'
