In an interview on the Garza Podcast, Kataklysm frontman Maurizio Iacono announced that the band will begin work on their next album this summer.

The Canadian death metal institution will spend the entire summer writing and recording at a newly constructed studio in Orlando, Florida, built specifically for the project.

The setup, which includes a cabin-style home and a custom shed-house studio, is designed to allow the band to live and work together throughout the writing process.

Iacono emphasized the importance of atmosphere and mental space in shaping the next Kataklysm record, with plans to document the recording process.
