Kerry King has confirmed the upcoming release of his second solo album, set to follow his 2024 debut 'From Hell I Rise'. All material for the new record will be written by King, with lyrics sent to singer Mark Osegueda, who has already received the first song. King stated in a 2025 interview that he plans to record the album before New Year's 2026, with the record company to release it at their discretion. The album will be produced by Josh Wilbur, who has previously worked with KORN, LAMB OF GOD, and AVENGED SEVENFOLD. King described Wilbur as a highly skilled producer whose technical expertise and creative input significantly shaped the recording process.

The new solo band features Mark Osegueda of DEATH ANGEL, guitarist Phil Demmel of MACHINE HEAD and VIO-LENCE, bassist Kyle Sanders of HELLYEAH, and drummer Paul Bostaph of SLAYER. The full lineup was confirmed in March 2026 when Independent Artist Group announced representation for both SLAYER and King's solo band outside the U.S. and Canada.

King's first live show with the solo band occurred in May 2024 at Reggies in Chicago, followed by performances at major U.S. festivals including Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple. A European tour launched on June 3, 2024, marking King's 60th birthday, and included headline shows in the U.K., Netherlands, Germany, Italy, and Spain, as well as festival appearances at Rock Am Ring, Hellfest, Tuska, Download, and Sweden Rock Festival.

A new tour in support of the upcoming solo album will launch in early 2027, according to Independent Artist Group. The full tour itinerary has not been released, but the project is confirmed as a key development in King's solo career.
