A new release of King Crimson's Islands will be available on September 25.
The album will come out in multiple formats: CD/Blu-ray/Vinyl, with the complete recording sessions from 1971 included as a bonus feature.
The Blu-ray edition features Steven Wilson's Atmos mix, while the vinyl includes Elemental Mixes by David Singleton.
The release also includes a remastered version of the album and live recordings from Summit Studios in Quadraphonic sound.
Fans can pre-order now through Burning Shed.
Robert Fripp is featured on guitar, Mellotron, Peter’s Pedal Harmonium & Sundry Implements alongside Mel Collins, Boz Burrell, Ian Wallace, and Peter Sinfield.
Islands was the only studio album by this lineup of King Crimson and the last to feature Sinfield as a full creative partner.
The album showcases the band's unique sound at its limit.
