On August 9, 1995, KISS performed at Sony Music Studios in New York City for MTV Unplugged.

This historic performance marked the only time the original line-up participated without their trademark makeup.

The reunion was so well-received that it paved the way for a full-scale reunion of the iconic band with all four original members together for the first time since 1979.

Newly remastered in HD, KISS recently shared clips from the show as well as the official behind-the-scenes video, giving fans the chance to experience how the iconic MTV Unplugged performance came together.

They continue to roll out remastered clips from the show.

In related news, KISS icons Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons were inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame on Thursday, June 11 in New York.

Prior to the induction, they guested on CBS Mornings discussing their 50-year musical partnership.

The band's original members have been recognized for their contributions to music with a new documentary series celebrating their legacy.

In other news, Prophets Of Addiction has emerged as a modern day fusion of Hanoi Rocks and The 69 Eyes.

With plenty of pop hooks and whisky-drenched vocals, the band is an exciting addition to the metal scene.
