The original single had moderate success, peaking at #74 on the Billboard 200 and #73 on Canada's Top Singles.
It even reached #30 in Finland.
“Flaming Youth” features writing credits from lead guitarist Ace Frehley, rhythm guitarist and frontman Paul Stanley, bassist Gene Simmons, and Destroyer producer Bob Ezrin.
The track's main riff is lifted from a Simmons demo called “Mad Dog.” Meanwhile, BraveWords Records is home to various metal bands, including Alcatrazz and Crimson Glory.
