KISS has achieved a new career high on the UK Official Album Downloads chart with the release of the compilation album 40.

The album debuts at position #53 this week, marking the highest placement in the band's history on that chart.

This follows the 2009 debut of Sonic Boom, which reached #59 and was later removed from the list.

40, originally released in May 2014 to celebrate the band's 40th anniversary, features a curated selection of material from studio and live albums, solo recordings by all four members, and special tracks.

The compilation appears only on the Official Album Downloads chart, which tracks full-length albums purchased via digital download platforms such as iTunes.

The release is part of a broader commemoration of KISS's legacy, including a newly mixed version of their 1976 Anaheim Stadium concert.

That performance, attended by over 42,000 fans, is now available on 1CD and 180 gram 2LP vinyl, with a booklet containing unreleased photos and liner notes.

The concert audio, featuring Gene Simmons' 'cookie monster' vocal style, is now streaming on the band's official platform.

The new release is available for purchase starting August 21 via shopkissonline.com.

Additionally, Paul Di’Anno’s final solo album, Warhorse, is now available on colored vinyl worldwide through BraveWords Records.

This marks the first time the album has been released in physical format since its original launch.
