Canadian heavy music pioneers KITTIE have kicked off their first full North American headlining tour in over 10 years.

Dubbed the "Legacy Of Fire Tour: 30 Years Of Kittie", this milestone moment honors three decades since the band's formation in 1996 and rides the momentum of their recent triumphs, including the critically acclaimed comeback album "Fire" and the re-recorded and reimagined anniversary EP "Spit XXV".

Support on the tour comes from KINGDOM OF GIANTS and GORE.

KITTIE bassist Ivana "Ivy" Vujic is sitting out the band's current tour due to family commitments, but is expected to rejoin her bandmates in August.

Filling in for Vujic is Rachel Gonzales of the Las Vegas band NEON KNIGHTS, who previously played with KITTIE on this year's ShipRocked cruise.

In a recent social media statement, the band shared their support for bassist Ivana "Ivy" Vujic's decision to prioritize her family commitments over touring.

The band's drummer Mercedes Lander and guitarist/vocalist Morgan Lander spoke about the band's decision to reunite in 2022, initially just for a couple of festival appearances.

KITTIE's live shows have demonstrated their enduring power, with performances at major festivals including Sick New World, Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple.

The band's success on this year's North American headline min-tour has proven their ability to command stages as headliners.
