Legendary guitarist K.K.
Downing, the leader of KK's Priest, took to the stage at the 2024 edition of the Rock Hard Festival in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, performing a crushing rendition of Judas Priest's "Beyond The Realms Of Death." This performance is notable as Downing was once a long-time member of Judas Priest before parting ways with the band over working relationship issues in 2011.
His time out of the spotlight included a few high-profile reunion performances with fellow former Judas Priest members, including Tim "Ripper" Owens and Les Binks.
In 2020, Downing revealed his plans to continue his metal career as KK's Priest, releasing their debut album Sermons Of The Sinner in 2021 with a new lineup that included bassist Tony Newton and drummer Sean Elg of Cage.
Their follow-up effort, The Sinner Rides Again, arrived two years later.
