In a now-deleted photo on Instagram, Korn guitarist James “Munky” Shaffer was pictured with producer Nick Raskulinecz and mixing engineer Chris Lord-Alge in a studio.

The photo featured the caption, “What a blast with Nick Raskulinecz and Munkey mixing Korn!! Heavy badass rock!!!” Although the photo was originally uploaded to Lord-Alge's personal Instagram account, it has since been removed.

According to Brian “Head” Welch just last week when talking to Loudwire, “We're a fortunate band, we've been around for awhile and we've got an extensive catalogue with a lot of well-known songs.

We're focusing right now on our live show… it feels like we don't even need a new album.” Welch went as far to say, “I really love the fact that it's taking a long time.” It is unclear what Korn was working on in the studio, but Lord-Alge may have unknowingly broken news of a new Korn record.
