In an interview with Devil's Horns, Kreator bassist Frédéric Leclercq revealed details about the band's upcoming sixteenth studio album, 'Krushers Of The World'.
Recorded at Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden with producer Jens Bogren, who also handled production for 'Phantom Antichrist' (2012) and 'Gods Of Violence' (2017), the album is set to release on January 16, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records.
Notably, the cover artwork was created by Polish genius Zbigniew Bielak of GHOST fame.
Leclercq expressed his excitement about the new record, stating that Kreator 'is still on the way up' and 'the success that we have right now, we always build up', indicating a focus on continued growth and conquest in territories yet to be dominated.
In discussing the making of 'Krushers Of The World', Leclercq expressed his satisfaction with the strong songs, as well as the organic and enthusiastic process of modifying them during pre-production.
He also highlighted the fresh energy captured in the studio due to the late presentation of songs by Mille Petrozza, Kreator's guitarist/vocalist, who recorded demos in pieces while touring.
Kreator has already released three singles from 'Krushers Of The World': 'Seven Serpents', 'Tränenpalast', and 'Satanic Anarchy'.
Notably, 'Tränenpalast' features guest vocals by Britta Görtz of extreme metal band HIRAES.
To promote the album, Kreator will embark on a monumental European tour across 20 countries, joining forces with fellow metal powerhouses CARCASS, EXODUS and NAILS.
The trek kicks off on March 20, 2026 in Lisbon, Portugal, at MEO Arena and wraps up on April 25, 2026 in Copenhagen, Denmark, at Poolen.
Additionally, Kreator will embark on a U.S.
tour next spring, with stops at key festivals such as Welcome To Rockville, Sonic Temple and Maryland Deathfest.
The band last conquered American audiences and venues in 2024.
