Lamb of God have released their new album, 'Into Oblivion', which marks a return to form for the band.

The album is their most ferocious and spiky work in years, with tracks like 'Parasocial Christ' and 'Sepsis' showcasing the band's ability to craft heavy, aggressive riffs and vivid lyrics.

The album also sees Lamb of God exploring new sonic territory, with songs like 'El Vacio' featuring cleaner vocals and a more enigmatic sound.

The album's second half maintains the energy and aggression of its first half, with tracks like 'St.

Catherine's Wheel' and 'Blunt Force Blues' showcasing the band's ability to craft massive, crushing riffs.

The album concludes with the aggressive 'Devise / Destroy', which tackles the theme of negativity and oppression.

In an interview, Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe praised the band's new sound, stating: "We've always been a band that wears our hearts on our sleeves, but we're not afraid to take risks and push boundaries.

With 'Into Oblivion', we've taken our sound in some new and unexpected directions." Lamb of God will be touring extensively in support of the album, with dates and venues still being finalized.

This is Lamb of God's finest work since 2015's 'VII: Sturm Und Drang', and a vigorous restating of their original values.

The band remains on blistering form.
