Canadian rock icon Lee Aaron has announced her May 16 performance at Heavy Sound Festival 2026 in Poperinge, Belgium.

In a statement to fans, Aaron expressed excitement about returning to the festival after many years: “So THIS is happening! We are thrilled to be back after many moons to headline HEAVY SOUND FESTIVAL 2026, Poperinge, Belgium! Some incredible British bands on this bill including the longest running all-female rock band @girlschoolreal!! 🔥 Respect! Saturday, May 16th is going to be an incredible night!” Other acts performing at Heavy Sound Festival 2026 include Angel Witch, Raven, Girlschool, Tytan, Elixir, and Existence.

BraveWords Records, home to a diverse range of metal bands including Alcatrazz and Crimson Glory, will also be represented.
