LEFT TO DIE has confirmed its summer 2026 European tour, performing a series of concerts across multiple countries.
The band, which features classic DEATH members Terry Butler and Frederick "Rick Rozz" DeLillo, along with GRUESOME founders Matt Harvey and Gus Rios, will perform most of the songs from DEATH's seminal "Leprosy" album and tracks from its debut LP, "Scream Bloody Gore".
Butler was unable to attend the first five shows of the tour and was temporarily replaced by Jörgen Sandström of GRAVE and ENTOMBED.
The tour marks a significant reunion effort for the band, continuing its legacy of honoring DEATH's early catalog.
LEFT TO DIE's debut full-length album, "Initium Mortis", was released on July 17 via Relapse Records.
The album includes newly recorded versions of songs from DEATH's pre-DEATH project MANTAS, which originally featured Rozz and vocalist/drummer Kam Lee.
The band's performance at Zaścianek in Kraków, Poland on August 4, concluded with a tribute to DEATH's late members, including Chuck Schuldiner, who died in 2001, Sean Reinert, who passed in 2020, and Shaun Glass, who died in July 2026 after a stroke.
Clendenin, who died in 2015, was also honored.
The tribute was delivered during the final song of the regular set, "Zombie Ritual".
A fully authorized biography of Schuldiner, "Born Human: The Life And Music Of Death's Chuck Schuldiner", was released in November 2025 by Decibel Books and is now available for purchase at store.decibelmagazine.com.
The release includes exclusive interviews, new Ed Repka cover art, and previously unreleased photographs from those who knew Schuldiner best."
