English singer-songwriter and guitarist Dave Mason, a founding member of Traffic alongside Steve Winwood, has passed away at the age of 79.

Mason was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame in 2004 for his contributions to music.

He is well-known for his solo hit, “We Just Disagree,” from his 1977 album, Let It Flow.

Mason's death has been met with tributes from fans and critics alike, who hail him as one of the most talented songwriters and guitarists in the world.

He continued to perform over 100 shows a year to sold-out crowds despite his advanced age.
