Belgian razorgrind band LENG TCH'E has released its first new single in nearly ten years. "Hammered Into Collapse" sets the tone for the band's upcoming two-song EP, which also includes the track "Voided.", The EP will be released on all digital platforms on October 23, 2026, via Season Of Mist. The single was released ahead of the full EP on September 24.

"Hammered Into Collapse" was recorded at Hearse Studio with engineer Lander Cluyse, mixed by Taylor Young at The Pit Recording Studio and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege. Young has previously worked with GOD'S HATE, FULL OF HELL and VITRIOL.

The release marks LENG TCH'E's first new recorded material since 2017's "Razorgrind." The band, formed in 2001 in Ghent under the name ANAL TORTURE, rebranded to LENG TCH'E in reference to the historical Chinese execution method of death by a thousand cuts. The group has maintained a consistent sound blending grindcore with hardcore, death metal and stoner elements.

The current lineup—Serge Kasongo on vocals, Jan Hallaert on guitar, Olivier Coppens on drums and Nicolas Malfeyt on bass and backing vocals—has spent longer together than any prior configuration. The band last released new material in 2017, and has remained active through live performances, including a 2026 appearance at Gullegem Metal Fest. The new EP features two tracks, under seven minutes combined, with no ceremony, reflecting a return to the band's roots after a long silence.
