During an April 14 appearance on SiriusXM's "Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk", hard rock queen Lita Ford spoke about the status of her long-awaited new studio album.

Ford's upcoming follow-up to 2012's "Living Like A Runaway" was once again helmed by guitarist/producer Gary Hoey, who contributes some guitar playing to the disc.

Asked for an update on her new music, Lita said that it's coming soon, with a potential release date in the fall of 2026.

The album is a concept record with a dark fairy tale theme, and features collaborations with Doro Pesch and Jean Beauvoir.

Ford explained that she had complete control over the project and was able to assemble a great team to promote her record.

With Max Norman mixing the album and Gary Hoey producing it, Ford is confident that the music will be well-received by rock fans.

The album's release is expected to be announced soon, with potential plans for live shows to support the new material.
