FOREIGNER singer Lou Gramm has shared his thoughts on the band's current lineup during an appearance on SPIN magazine's Lipps Service With Scott Lipps podcast.

When asked about his relationship with founding guitarist Mick Jones, who is in the end stages of Alzheimer's disease and unable to play music anymore, Gramm responded: "It's pretty good.

He's distant." Gramm has been performing with FOREIGNER as a special guest at select shows on their 50th-anniversary tour, touring in honor of Jones.

In a separate interview with News-Press, Gramm stated that he is touring with FOREIGNER in honor of Jones and that the band's current lineup is "very good." When asked about his issues with Jones over songwriting credits for FOREIGNER's hit song 'I Want To Know What Love Is,' Gramm explained: "It's very difficult, because we worked our tails off together, writing most of those songs." Gramm has been open about his past conflicts with Jones and had previously expressed a change of heart after FOREIGNER's induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in October 2024.

FOREIGNER replaced Gramm with Kelly Hansen in 2005, but Hansen announced his departure from the group during their performance on the season finale of NBC singing competition 'The Voice' last May.

In a moving segment that aired nationally, Hansen introduced FOREIGNER guitarist Luis Maldonado as his official successor.

FOREIGNER's current lineup consists of Luis Maldonado (lead vocals/guitar), Jeff Pilson (bass), Michael Bluestein (keyboards), Bruce Watson (guitars) and Chris Frazier (drums).
