Japanese power metal quintet LOVEBITES has announced a worldwide deal with Austrian label Napalm Records, excluding Asia.

The partnership marks a significant milestone in the band's career, as they share their fifth album, "Outstanding Power", which drops digitally immediately and hits physical formats on May 8, 2026.

Founded in 2016, LOVEBITES has quickly risen to fame in their home country of Japan, with standout performances at major festivals like Wacken and Hellfest.

Their debut at the legendary Budokan in Tokyo earlier this year was a highlight, showcasing their high-energy approach to power metal.

The band's new album, "Outstanding Power", sees them pushing the boundaries of their sound, incorporating multifaceted elements that shine equal light on both vocalist Asami and instrumentalists Midori and Miyako.

Fans can check out the music video for lead single "The Castaway," which showcases the band's galloping riffs and sweeping pathos.

Other standout tracks include the power ballad "Eternally" and the emotional firework "Dream Of King." Asami comments about the album, saying, "Unlike the solid ground of land, the sea never offers stability.

Yet a ship pushes forward across its surface, never yielding to the crashing waves, raging storms, or roaring thunder.

It was with this sense of overwhelming power that we created a truly one-of-a-kind album — something only we could bring into the world." The track listing for "Outstanding Power" includes "The Castaway," "Silence The Void," "Forbidden Thirst," and more.
