Loud Society has released a new video spotlighting Japan’s punk and metal scene, where everyday life detonates into raw energy on stage. It traces how Japanese bands absorbed global influences, built a distinct underground culture, and why spaces like metal bars remain vital hubs for community, freedom, and passion.
Lovebites will release their fifth full-length album, Outstanding Power, on February 18, 2026. The band has unveiled the tracklist, marking their first studio album with songwriting credits from all members.
Entering 2025, Lovebites shifted fully into writing, composing new material from January to March alongside the Japanese leg of the Eternal Phenomenon Tour. After the tour, they focused on production. Recording ran from August to early November, ending just before the U.S. leg of the tour.
The album was mixed by Mikko Karmila and mastered by Mika Jussila, resulting in a powerful, polished sound that lives up to its title. The artwork, by Spain’s Easy Rabbit Creation, depicts the band’s symbolic white wolf aboard a ship tearing through violent seas—continuing their long-running collaboration with Lovebites and their work for Helloween.
“When we say Outstanding Power, it’s not just about music,” the band said. “It’s about believing in ourselves and pushing forward through trials without yielding. This album is something only we could create.”
Several deluxe editions will be available. The Heaven Edition includes Made In Heaven – Live At Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO) 2025, capturing the band’s March 13, 2025 performance. The Hell Edition features Made In Hell – Live At Hellfest 2024, recorded at the festival in France on June 28, 2024.
