During a June 14 "unplugged" performance by HALESTORM's Lzzy Hale and Joe Hottinger at the Garage in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom, Lzzy reflected on her experience fronting SKID ROW for four shows in May and June 2024.

After the group's fourth frontman since Sebastian Bach's departure — "Swedish Idol" contestant Erik Grönwall — quit the band to focus on his health, Hale told the crowd about playing with SKID ROW (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): "It was awesome.

It was so great," she said.

"I got to live out my teenage fantasy." Hale noted that performing with SKID ROW was a surreal experience, especially given her history as a huge fan of the band's music.

She recalled being one of the few bands in the '80s and '90s that truly bridged the gap for her love of big choruses and riffs with poignant lyrics.

Hale also shared some personal anecdotes about her time playing with SKID ROW, including meeting Sebastian Bach's wife Rita Haney, who had been watching videos of Hale singing with the band while staying up all night with Bach.

Despite the initial shock and weirdness of performing with the band she had once idolized, Hale expressed her gratitude for the opportunity and hopes to rejoin them at some point in the future.
