Mad Reign founder Brent “Turmoil” Turner has reassembled the iconic Bay Area metal band with a new lineup and released their first single in many years.

The song, titled "On The Fade," commemorates Mad Reign's 40th anniversary and is available now on streaming platforms.

The reunion sees Turner returning to his guitar role alongside Brad Brooks (ex-MC5) on lead vocals, Andy Galeon (ex-Death Angel) on drums, Steve Lynch (Swamphamme) on guitar, and Larry Santiago on bass.

The band's history is marked by tragedy, having lost several members over the years, including their original lead singer Frank Starr.

Mad Reign originally gained international attention with their single "You Be The Judge" from their EP Salute the New Flag in 1986.
