Massachusetts and Rhode Island thrash/death metal band Maidenhead has announced the release of their sophomore full-length album, Maximum Clonage, on August 14.

The independently released record marks the band’s most technically accomplished work to date, blending the speed of classic thrash with the precision and brutality of old-school death metal.

The album was mixed by legendary producer Randy Burns, known for his work with Megadeth, Death, and Kreator.

It features guest appearances by former Megadeth guitarist Chris Poland and Glen Drover, and Rich Gray from Annihilator, who provides bass on six of the eight tracks.

The album follows the successful release of singles "Death March" and "Magia Obscura," which previewed the band’s evolution toward a more dynamic and aggressive sound.

Maximum Clonage is accompanied by a visual campaign featuring seven artworks centered on the band’s gas mask-wearing mascot Nada, with illustrations by Yosafat C and Miguel Ayuso.

The band has also launched the Maximum Clonage Tour, including multiple dates opening for Raider on their Eastern Conquest Tour.

Dates include August 18 at Bar Freda in Ridgewood, NY; August 19 at Nine Cafe in New Haven, CT; August 20 at Platinum City in Taunton, MA; August 21 at Jewel Music Venue in Manchester, NH; August 22 at Midnight’s in Brattleboro, VT; and August 29 at The Cellar on Treadwell in Hamden, CT.

Founded in 2013, Maidenhead has built a reputation rooted in the traditions of Megadeth, Slayer, Morbid Angel, and Death.

The band has shared stages with Artillery, D.R.I., Prong, and Blood Feast, and completed their first California tour in 2025.

The release follows a refreshed lineup that includes guitarist Vance Simmons and vocalist Zeping "Bella" Song.

The tour supports the launch of Maximum Clonage, which arrives worldwide on August 14.
