American death metallers Malefic Throne have unveiled their first ever music video for the track “When Our Shadows Align”, taken from their debut album, The Conquering Darkness.
The trio consists of guitarist Gene Palubicki (Angelcorpse, Perdition Temple), vocalist/bassist Steve Tucker (Morbid Angel), and drummer John Longstreth (Origin, Hate Eternal).
The band's roots date back to the mid-90s when they first met at Morrisound Studios.
In a statement, Longstreth noted that it’s an amazing feeling to see those old conversations develop into a true celebration of blistering infernal death metal.
Palubicki emphasized that the music produced by Malefic Throne has the imprint of all three members very present in every moment of the songs.
The Conquering Darkness album was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Menegroth The Thousand Caves with Colin Marston.
A range of physical formats are available for pre-order, including jewelcase CD, tape, black LP, red LP, picture disc, splatter LP, digital, and two t-shirt designs.
The video features songs from their debut album, including “Blasphémait Desecration”, “The Voice Of My Ghost”, “Athirst For Dissonance”, “Born Of Plague”, “Divine Tragedy”, “Carnage Of The Forgotten”, and more.
