Grammy Award-nominated vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Wolfgang Van Halen has released the official music video for “One of a Kind,” the latest single from his band Mammoth.

The track appears on Mammoth’s third album, The End, which was released last October. Clocking in at 39 minutes across 10 tracks, the album documents Van Halen’s continued growth as a songwriter and musician since launching his solo project in 2020.

Recorded at the legendary 5150 Studio, The End was produced by longtime collaborator Michael “Elvis” Baskette. On the album, Van Halen again pushed himself creatively by writing all of the material and performing all instrumentation and vocals, expanding on the approach he established on his debut and 2023’s Mammoth II.

From the hypnotic opening of “One of a Kind” to the anthemic closer “All in Good Time,” the album highlights Van Halen’s range and melodic instincts. Tracks such as “Same Old Song,” “Happy,” and “Selfish” sit comfortably alongside earlier fan favorites while reinforcing Mammoth’s evolving identity.

Mammoth will launch their first headlining tour of 2026 on March 5 in Buffalo, New York, with the run concluding April 4 in Prior Lake, Minnesota. Support on the tour will come from 10 Years and James and the Cold Gun. Ticketing and VIP package information is available at mammoth.band.

In a recent interview with Cutter’s Rockcast, Van Halen explained his decision to handle all instruments and vocals on Mammoth’s studio recordings.

“It was initially just a challenge,” he said. “I had these ideas I was writing on my own, and I wanted to see if I was capable of playing every instrument cohesively and having it sound like a band. Over the two years it took to record the first album, I discovered the process and found that I really enjoyed it.”

Mammoth’s touring lineup features Frank Sidoris on guitar, Jon Jourdan on guitar and backing vocals, Garrett Whitlock on drums, and Ronnie Ficarro on bass.

Since their formation, Mammoth have toured extensively, supporting Metallica and Foo Fighters in North America, joining Creed on their record-breaking reunion tour, and headlining their own sold-out shows. The band have also appeared on NBC’s Today, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and performed at the 2024 MusiCares Person of the Year gala honoring Jon Bon Jovi.
