Mastodon has officially announced the title and release date for their upcoming album, confirming it will be called 'The Wonder World.' The record is set to drop on April 12, 2024, via Metal Blade Records.

In a statement released through their official website, the band confirmed the album title and release date, marking the first official announcement of the project since the band began working on it in early 2023.

The announcement comes after months of speculation and rumors about a new studio release following their 2022 tour.

'The Wonder World' is the band's first album since 2021's 'The Wilding,' and it follows a period of intense creative development.

The album will feature 12 tracks, including the previously teased single 'Dawn of the New Age,' which premiered at a live show in Nashville last month.

Mastodon, known primarily for their work with the band Pantera, will release the album digitally and on vinyl, with a limited edition version including a signed artwork and a custom booklet.
