Mat Sinner Updates on Touring with Primal Fear and New Single from Sinner

Primal Fear bassist Mat Sinner has shared an update regarding his ability to join the band on their upcoming tour in South America.

Due to a medical issue, where he sliced his leg in London and developed an infection, Mat will be replaced by Gamma Ray's Dirk Schl"chter for the shows in Argentina and Brazil.

In related news, Sinner has announced a new single titled 'Wait' which is set to drop on May 29, 2026.

This will be the band's first release since their latest album Brotherhood was issued in July 2022.

The band's lineup features Mat Sinner, along with guest appearances from Erik Martensson (Eclipse), Ricky Warwick (Black Star Riders), Michael Sadler (Saga), Ronnie Romero, Sascha Krebs (Rock Meets Classic), and BjΓΆrn "Speed" Strid (Soilwork / The Night Flight Orchestra).

Primal Fear's tour schedule is as follows: April 24 – Audio – SΓ£o Paulo, Brazil 25-26 – Bangers Open Air Brasil – SΓ£o Paulo, Brazil September 12 – Sinner Rock 2026 – Sinntal, Germany 26 – SchΓΌtzi Olten – Olten, Switzerland October 2 – Rathaussaal – Telfs, Austria 3 – Monster Festival 2026 – Geiselwind, Germany 4 – Petit Bain – Paris, France 6 – Le Rex – Toulouse, France 7 – Anden 65 – Burgos, Spain 8 – Wagon – Madrid, Spain 10 – Totem – Pamplona, Spain 11 – Roig Arena – Valencia, Spain.

This tour will take place despite Mat's medical issue.
