Tool's Maynard James Keenan has confirmed that the band will embark on an extensive tour in support of their forthcoming album.

The trek, set to commence on April 1st and run through July 31st, will see the band visit over two dozen cities across North America and Europe.

Direct support for the dates comes from Iggy Pop and Primus.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Maynard James Keenan commented on the band's upcoming album, stating: "We're not trying to reinvent the wheel here, we're just trying to make music that sounds good." When asked about the tour, Keenan added, "We're going to play some new songs, and we're going to play some of our older ones.
