Drumeo has released a new video featuring Megadeth drummer Dirk Verbeuren breaking down the drum parts from the band’s 1986 classic Peace Sells… But Who’s Buying?.
The video arrives as Megadeth continue to make headlines with their final studio album, which debuted at No. 1 on iTunes and quickly became a bestseller. According to Forbes, the self-titled release is expected to remain at the top of the chart for an extended run.
The album includes bonus material such as a reimagined version of Metallica’s “Ride The Lightning,” co-written by Dave Mustaine with James Hetfield, Cliff Burton, and Lars Ulrich. Mustaine said the track was included as a way of honoring the roots of his career.
The Drumeo feature highlights Verbeuren’s command of Megadeth’s signature style and reflects the band’s ongoing effort to preserve and revisit its legacy. With more than 50 million records sold worldwide and 12 Grammy nominations, Megadeth remain one of heavy music’s most influential forces.
Their catalog includes platinum-certified landmarks like Peace Sells… But Who’s Buying?, Rust In Peace, and Countdown To Extinction. Beyond music, the band has expanded into ventures such as craft beer and fine wine through House Of Mustaine, launched in 2013.
