Megadeth's new self-titled album has topped the charts around the world, including a first-time ever #1 spot on the Billboard 200.

According to Billboard, Megadeth's 17th studio album debuted at number one in the US and reached the top spot in Australia and Austria.

Other countries where the album topped out include Finland, Sweden, Belgium, Italy, New Zealand, and the UK and Germany, where it placed second and third respectively.

The album was released on January 23 via Dave Mustaine's Tradecraft imprint in partnership with Frontiers Label Group's new BLKIIBLK label.

The band's latest single, "Tipping Point," reached number one on the Hard Rock Digital Song Sales chart last October, while "I Don't Care" was ranked fifth in November.

The album features a range of tracks including "Puppet Parade," "Another Bad Day," and "Ride The Lightning." Megadeth is also gearing up to head north this month for a powerful run of dates in Canada, featuring Anthrax and Exodus as supporting acts.

In other news, Megadeth will be special guests on the 2026 North American dates of Iron Maiden's Run For Your Lives World Tour.

The tour kicks off on August 29 at Toronto's Scotiabank Arena with additional dates announced for Montreal, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, and more.
