Sumerian thrashing black metal pioneers Melechesh will unleash their new EP, Sentinels Of Shamash, on April 10 via Reigning Phoenix Music.

The five-track release promises to take listeners on a journey through Mesopotamian myth, with the first single, “Raptors Of Anzu,” now available for stream/download and a lyric video shared online.

Melechesh's EP tracklisting includes "The Seventh Verdict," "In Shadows, In Light," and "Raptors Of Anzu." Meanwhile, fellow black metallers Voices of Extreme are generating buzz with their debut single, "Stoned Babies," which has been praised for its beauty and brilliance by Iridium Rock and Metal Reviews.

The full album from Voices of Extreme is set to drop in 2026 on BraveWords Records.
