The UK-registered charity Metal For Nepal is currently running a charity prize draw featuring a signed guitar from Download Festival UK 2025 artists, including Korn and Meshuggah.

The unique guitar was later carried to the summit of Mt.

Manaslu by world record-holding climber Gelje Sherpa alongside Adriana Brownlee, making it the first electric guitar ever taken above 8,000 metres.

The prize draw aims to raise £20,000 to support children in remote Himalayan communities access warm clothing during harsh winters, education support, and art materials.

Fans can enter to win for as little as £10 through a Crowdfunder campaign, with all funds going directly towards Metal For Nepal's work in Nepal.

Metal For Nepal Director Flower KC stated, "Rather than placing it into a private auction, we wanted fans to have the opportunity to win it while supporting a wider cause." The charity is also promoting its work and Facebook Group for metal discussion and community engagement.
