Industrial metal powerhouse Ministry brought explosive energy to the Ronnie James Dio Stage at Bloodstock Open Air 2025, delivering a crushing performance of their classic track “N.W.O.” to a packed field of metal fans at Catton Park.
Captured live during their special guest slot before Machine Head, the set became one of the most talked-about moments of the festival weekend. “N.W.O.” remains one of Ministry’s most iconic tracks—a defining industrial metal anthem that helped propel the band to international recognition in the early ’90s. Its blend of mechanical rhythms, distorted samples, and confrontational lyrics continues to be a live highlight, and this Bloodstock performance captures that intensity in full.
In 2025, for the first time ever, Ministry released an official music video for the enduring fan favorite “Everyday Is Halloween.” Originally released in 1984, Al Jourgensen’s rallying cry for the goth community and the misunderstood has remained a cult classic for four decades and has finally received the visual treatment it deserves.
“I’m amazed and honored that folks are still listening to this song 40 years on. Fly that freak flag proudly.” — Al Jourgensen
“Everyday Is Halloween” appears on the new album The Squirrely Years Revisited, out now via Cleopatra Records, which sees Jourgensen making peace with Ministry’s early synth-pop era. Following the strong response to Ministry’s With Sympathy and Twitch-heavy set at Cruel World 2024, Jourgensen revisited these long-dormant tracks and gave them a fresh polish 40 years later.
Featuring nine tracks (plus three bonus tracks on CD), The Squirrely Years Revisited includes reworked versions of “Everyday Is Halloween,” “Work For Love,” “I’m Not An Effigy,” and “I’ll Do Anything For You.” The release follows 2024’s HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES and arrives ahead of Ministry’s final studio album in 2026, which will reunite Jourgensen with Paul Barker.
The Squirrely Years Revisited is available digitally, on CD, and across four vinyl variants.
