MIRADOR, the band co-founded by Grammy Award-winning GRETA VAN FLEET co-founder Jake Kiszka and IDA MAE's Chris Turpin, will release an acoustic EP, “The Gathering At Badon Hill”, on May 15 via Republic Records.

The five-track collection includes reimagined and reborn songs off MIRADOR's self-titled debut album.

The EP was recorded live in the shadows of a 12th century stone barn, set deep within one of England's oldest landscapes.\u2028\u2028\u2028Encircled by centuries-old graffiti — apotropaic symbols, witch marks, daisy wheels, and pentangles etched into the stones to ward off unseen forces — the single-take performances hit with an intensity the band weren't ready for.\u2028\u2028\u2028“While recording one of the tracks, we all felt it, a surge of energy rising and swirling above us into the rafters,” Turpin recalls.

“It was unlike anything of us had experienced before…it shook us.”\u2028\u2028\u2028“The ground shook, the sky rumbled, and every microphone heard it… rather humorous, considering we had just come to record a few quiet acoustic tracks,” Kiszka remarks.\u2028\u2028\u2028“The Gathering At Badon Hill” is available for pre-order as a 12-inch vinyl (available June 19).\u2028\u2028\u2028MIRADOR has also shared the first track and music video for “Ashes To Earth (Reborn At Badon Hill)”.
