Mötley Crüe kicked off its first full headlining concert in nine months with a high-energy set at the Rockin' Thunder festival on July 4.

The band played to a packed Princess Auto Stadium in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, where they performed several rarities from their extensive discography.

Mötley Crüe's setlist included "Take Me To The Top," a song from their debut album "Too Fast For Love," which hadn't been performed since 1984, as well as rare airings of "Red Hot" (last played in 2013), "Louder Than Hell" (last played in 2015), and "Too Young To Fall In Love" (also last played in 2015).

The band was supported by Three Days Grace, Halestorm, and JJ Wilde.

Mötley Crüe's upcoming tour will celebrate the anniversary of their groundbreaking Carnival Of Sins tour.

The trek kicks off on July 17 in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania and features support acts Extreme and Tesla.

One dollar from each ticket sold will be donated to ASAP! through Mötley Crüe's Giveback Initiative.

In a recent interview with Jon Smith of the Arrow radio station, bassist Nikki Sixx discussed the band's approach to crafting their setlist for the tour: "We're not tired of playing those hits, but we are excited about getting into a setlist and diving into some songs that we maybe never played or haven't played in a long time...

We can kind of pick and choose through that and salt and pepper our set with some [deeper] songs." Sixx also hinted at the possibility of crowd-sourced song choices.

This spring, Mötley Crüe completed their Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM.

The shows had been rescheduled after frontman Vince Neil suffered a stroke in December 2024.

The band's medical procedure explanation was later clarified as a series of strokes before the more severe incident on Christmas night that left him unable to get out of bed.
