MÖTLEY CRÜE will be joined by country-pop superstar Carrie Underwood for the band's performance on the season finale of 'American Idol.' The three-hour episode airs May 11 at 8 p.m.

ET on ABC and will stream the next day on Disney+ and Hulu.

The episode features the top three contestants performing, and whoever gets the most viewer votes will win the show.

MÖTLEY CRÜE's setlist includes their iconic performance of "Home Sweet Home," which has become synonymous with the singing competition show.

Carrie Underwood, a former 'Idol' winner herself, was previously featured on the show in 2009 when she performed her own cover of the song.

She also covered another MÖTLEY CRÜE classic, "Kickstart My Heart," with Vince Neil in August 2007.

The singer has long been an advocate for animal welfare and chose to tie her charity single release to the Humane Society Of The United States.

The season finale features a star-studded lineup including SHINEDOWN, Clay Aiken, Jason Mraz, Nelly, EN VOGUE, Tori Kelly, BLUES TRAVELER, and GIN BLOSSOMS.

Emmy Award-winning host Ryan Seacrest returns to the helm of 'American Idol,' alongside esteemed judges Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan, and Carrie Underwood.
