In a new interview with The Downbeat Podcast, MOTIONLESS IN WHITE frontman Chris "Motionless" Cerulli confirmed that his band's upcoming album, "Decades", will include a cover of the iconic synth-pop song "Sunglasses At Night".

Originally written and recorded by Canadian singer Corey Hart in 1983, the track has been reimagined with heavier guitars but retaining its signature synths and huge hook.

Cerulli explained that his band approached reimagining the track with a focus on authenticity: "With covers, I know it's very divided and polarizing whether you stick to the original or do your whole new thing, and this is straight up for me." He also revealed that he'd been wanting to cover the song since 2007.

The album, produced by Drew Fulk and Justin "JD" deBlieck, features several high-profile guest appearances, including SLIPKNOT frontman Corey Taylor on the track "Playing God", which tackles toxic Internet culture.

MOTIONLESS IN WHITE is currently touring with BRING ME THE HORISON and will embark on their first American headlining tour in nearly three years this July.

The tour kicks off on July 14 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and runs through August 15 in Sterling Heights, Michigan, with stops in Charlotte, Houston, Austin, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Oklahoma City, and more.

The band will also headline Red Rocks for the first time.
