The Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas has announced the opening of a new exhibition dedicated to Motörhead and Lemmy, set for Friday, October 2, 2026. The exhibition will feature personal items from Lemmy’s collection, including photographs and handwritten lyrics. A unique element of the exhibit allows visitors to play Lemmy’s original Rickenbacker bass through the Marshall stack he used to create Motörhead’s iconic sound.

The museum, located at 1422 Western Avenue, opened on April 1, 2023, and is recognized as the world’s most comprehensive attraction focused on punk rock history, culture, and legacy. The exhibit highlights Lemmy’s foundational role in both punk and heavy metal, including his work with the Damned and his influence on bands such as Pennywise, Rancid, and Lagwagon.

Motörhead albums will be available at Vinyl Threat, the museum’s record store, and exclusive Motörhead merchandise will be offered in the museum’s gift shop. To celebrate the opening, Three Star Punk Bar will host a special evening on October 2 featuring Brian Slagel of Metal Blade Records DJing.
