Naglfar Confirmed for 70000 Tons of Metal 2027 Cruise

Swedish black metal band Naglfar has been officially confirmed as part of the 70000 Tons Of Metal 2027 cruise, set to sail from Miami, Florida to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic and back from January 14 to January 18, 2027.

The event will take place aboard Royal Caribbean’s luxury cruise ship Freedom of the Seas, offering fans an immersive heavy metal experience with 60 global metal acts performing across four stages, including the legendary Pool Deck Stage.

The lineup, announced in alphabetical order, includes Abigail Williams, Æther Realm, Arch Enemy, Battlelore, Brainstorm, Die Apokalyptischen Reiter, Enforcer, Equilibrium, Evergrey, Melechesh, Moonspell, Mors Principium Est, Naglfar, Obscura, Primal Fear, Rhapsody, Uli Jon Roth, Sinister, Thulcandra and Warbringer.

Additional bands will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Organizers emphasize that only 3,000 tickets are available worldwide, continuing the festival’s tradition of fostering a tight-knit global metal community known as the 'United Nations of Heavy Metal at Sea.' Fans are encouraged to book early to secure their spots.
