Nailbomb formed in 1994 with a focus on blending industrial metal with hardcore and thrash elements.

Their cult classic Point Blank (1994) and live album Proud To Commit Commercial Suicide (Dynamo Open Air, 1995) cemented their legacy as purveyors of confrontational extremity.

In an interview with Bloodstock TV host Oran O'Beirne in 2025, Max Cavalera discussed the decision to bring Nailbomb back to the live stage after many years.
